The Academy for Marketing God’s Way

Raise Up Marketers From Within Our Own People

so every plain community business can hand off its marketing with confidence that it will be effective and honor our values.

“In worldly marketing, the shareholder’s back pocket is the first priority. But, in godly marketing, the wellbeing of the customer comes first — and when that is done in a healthy context, the business owners will be taken care of.”

Roy Herr, Rosewood Marketing

The Need

From the Farm, to the Shop, to the Office

A generation ago, most of our fathers farmed. Today many of us run shops, and our businesses are growing. We’ve learned to build a better product and keep honest books.

Marketing is the job we’ve been slowest to learn. Only a few among us have learned to do it well, and there has been no place for our people to study it from a Christian worldview.

So you’re stuck between doing the marketing yourself and handing it to an outsider who doesn’t understand how you do business.

We understand. You would rather spend your hours running your business than learning to market it.

What We Believe

The Marketing Talent Our Businesses Need Is Already Growing Up in Our Own Families

They deserve to be trained. That’s why business owners and educators from our communities founded Kingswick, a nonprofit academy where experienced marketers train our own young people using real projects for real businesses and nonprofits.

1

Uphold the Values

We honor Plain Community values in education and in business.

2

Teachers Who Have Done It

Our teachers are seasoned marketers who know the work from the inside.

3

Real Work for Real Organizations

Students learn by doing real projects for real businesses and nonprofits.
